RISQS -The Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme is the supplier pre-qualification service used by buyers of all products and services throughout the GB rail industry. An in-depth pre-qualification questionnaire process must be passed to become RISQ verified, audits are carried out for those services requiring additional verification. Formerly known as Link-up the pre-qualification accreditation provides the industry with ownership and governance of its supplier qualification arrangements.

ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for an internal Quality Management of an organisation. ‘Quality’ in this respect refers to the features of a service or product which are required by an organisation’s customer. The ‘Quality Management’ of an organisation refers to the actions taken by an organisation to ensure that the products or services it is providing satisfy its customers’ quality requirements and complies with regulations applicable to those products or services. Organisations who are certified to this standard reflect evidence of a business operation which is supported by a fundamental and robust quality management system platform.
